What I liked
Newton Meyenge displayed his beautifully natural talents as a very believable “Galen.” He brought nuance and detail to an already interesting character. The direction kept interest, which can be challenging for a one-location story. But this was expertly directed, with a sort of fearlessness to sit in stillness and trust the words.
What I didn't like
I just thought it was delightful! I’ll look forward to more projects by this group!
My overall impression
“Sweet Air” was a perfect platonicom and a joy to watch from start to finish! With well-crafted, unique, and quirky characters, Morillo had a professional handle on story, relationship, and arc. Clearly a versed writer, Morillo crafted a captivating story that was intriguing, fun, and laugh-out-loud funny.
