Just as she so beautifully describes in the show, it was like we were witnessing Jessica’s heart existing outside her body as she tenderly and so rawly shares the pain and joy of early motherhood. Do you know a mom? Take her to this play. Actually better yet, offer to babysit so she and her partner can see this play. Jessica tells this story of transition to motherhood with such beauty, humor, honesty that I cry-laughed the whole way through. And I wasn't the only one.
