I’m not even a parent, and I was totally hooked. Jessica is a force. The show’s hilarious, honest, and full of heart. I laughed out loud, got choked up, and kept thinking “yep, been there” even without the baby part. Whether you're a mom or just trying to keep it together as a human, go see this....

This show moved me to my core. Jess’s bravery, humor and raw emotion was deep. Such an intimate and relatable dive into early motherhood and the full range of human emotion that comes with it. And it was f*%king hilarious. This is a “can’t miss” show, without a doubt. ...

I thought the humor, raw intensity, and creative use of a limited set converged into a seamless, highly emotional experience. Whether you identify as a mother or not, there's something here for anyone that wants to better understand how to be honest about the hardest parts of our lives and those of us that constantly use humor as our shield against the harsh realities of the world. The audience participation elements were also a big plus -- don't be afraid to jump in!
(SIDE NOTE: I heard they REALLY need tickets sales for the matinee on 6/22, so please go to that one if you're able!) ...

Wow I loved this show. Just as she so beautifully describes in the show, it was like we were witnessing Jessica’s heart existing outside her body as she tenderly and so rawly shares the pain and joy of early motherhood. You don’t need to be a mum to appreciate this gorgeous piece of theatre. ...

"Eat The Mama" was such a great show! Giving us a glimpse into the motherhood world and the balancing of career and mental health. You can tell how much work Jessica put into this show and how vulnerable she was sharing her beautiful story with us. Front row folks be ready to clean up some baby bottles 😂 ...

Absolutely loved it. A subject that we all know, but this felt like such a fresh, honest take. A true breath of fresh air. A woman being unapologetically a woman navigating life as a mother. ...

Do you know a mom? Take her to this play. Actually better yet, offer to babysit so she and her partner can see this play.
Jessica tells this story of transition to motherhood with such beauty, humor, honesty that I cry-laughed the whole way through. And I wasn't the only one.
It's also beautifully directed - somehow this small production still feels epic....
