Tabatha has a profoundly inviting sense of writing. She goes deep into universal emotions yet is able to also make it personal and specific. Tabatha writes with a kind of quiet bravery and she was great at leaving space for laughs, gasps, and recognition. I loved the very last line of the play as well and thought it wrapped everything up beautifully.
What I didn't like
I was especially curious about her experience leaving NPR – what that transition felt like for her. I would’ve loved to hear more about that part of the story. That said, I found the rest of it deeply moving and beautifully written.
My overall impression
Wonderful job! Thoughtful, great timing, heartfelt and raw.
