I appreciated the throughline in this piece, from Tabatha’s youth to her adulthood, of learning that she was not in charge; and not to trust her body. She weaves these themes throughout her personal stories across decades and through the traumatic event around which the play unfolds. It is an incredibly moving, honest, vulnerable – and humorous! – story told in an intimate setting. Highly recommend!

My overall impression
What a beautiful piece! The performance felt more like an intimate story told among friends. I had the sense I was seeing something significant, the culmination of one person’s healing process over many years, and it was powerful because she decided how and where and when to tell it.
