What I liked
“X” material shrewdly remarketed within “R” parameters to titilate but not gross out an audience that’s less sophisticated than he is himself! “Audience Participation” element = smartly handled adjunct to his story-telling! And anybody who provides a program not on fold-over paper but by scanning a condom cover (!) is in a class by himself in terms of personal promotion!
What I didn't like
“Near Sex for Work” isn’t quite the right title to capture customers (though it’s worked in the past in the LA area). Maybe it would be a little less clumsy to call it SEX-ADJACENT and tickle the imagination of potential patrons!
My overall impression
“Brighten The Corner Where YOU Are!” That’s a forgotten 20th-century maxim which perfectly captures the short, happy/unhappy life of the subject of this captivating one-man confessional, abetted by plenty of A-V aids!
DANIEL SHAR (rhymes with “Star”!) is SO cute, SO likeable, SO uninhibited and SO pro that you want to have him succeed in his unique niche: providing, and playing, Comic Relief in 100 porno pix (so far!) in the still-thriving Porn Industry—-and in a life beyond it!
