Beth May is a gifted storyteller who weaves a tremendous amount of humor into the heavy subject matter at the heart of the show.

My overall impression

The task of bringing someone else into the inner workings of your mind is difficult enough. Painting an honest picture of your lowest moments is even harder. Darkly funny and deeply vulnerable, Beth Wants the D succeeds at both.
