What I liked

(slight spoilers)
- The layout was very fun and engaging, especially beginning in the audience and starting the story at the end.

- The set was very simple, just the three blocks, but it was used very well! The slight changes in layout of the 3 boxes clearly represented different locations

- Balancing humor and honesty with a topic as heavy as this one and this show did so incredibly. As an audience member I was able to go from laughing one minute to tearing up the next without it feeling unearned or overwhelming.

- Having the index cards under peoples seats for some audience interaction was super fun!! (And its a super cool momento to keep after the show).

What I didn't like

- I think the only thing I didn’t like was the usage of the projector. It worked really well to transition between ‘chapters’ but when it was used during the actual segments the vibe just felt a little off. I think it might be because of the difference in style between the transitionary slides and the content slides but I’m not totally sure.

My overall impression

Beth was able to perfectly balance humor with genuine stories about her journey with mental health and bipolar disorder. I left the show feeling hopeful and mirthful.
