What I liked
Loved everything about this piece. The simplicity of the set. The props and the characters played by Kirsten are so distinct and real. I didn’t know what to expect. I was simply going to support an artist that I admire and left with way more than I came what. That’s what great artists do. Kudos. This was memorable and impactful.
What I didn't like
No improvement necessary. It was just enough food for my spirit to walk away, discuss and digest.
My overall impression
This play was authentic, raw, hilarious and heartbreaking all at the same time. It’s honest storytelling. Period. The vulnerability and the let it all “out” was so refreshing and impactful. Talked about it in the bathroom with another audience member. It’s so relevant and necessary for any female or male or all humans for that matter who find themselves in this dating game that we have been lured into. It’s very reflective of the times in regards to how we “search” for love and connection outside of ourselves and the risks that come with that.
