Kirsten, of whom I’ve been a big fan for a long time, has a magical ability to turn stories from her personal life into riveting theatre. Often there are aliens, monsters, figures from history and the like involved, but I never doubt that the events and characters are sprung from the way she interprets the world. And holy cow, does it make affecting theatre.
What I didn't like
Even when Kirsten becomes tongue-tied, she can turn the moment into endearing humor (or, I assume, heart-wrenching drama), so I don’t even wish for her to stop making mistakes. Can’t think of a way to improve her shows.
My overall impression
This show is another roller coaster brought to us by the inexhaustible Kirsten V, and I hope she never stops letting us ride along with her.
