The inter-spliced stories and the connective surrealism running throughout. I could not stop laughing until i surprised myself with tears.

My overall impression
A brilliantly funny and wildly entertaining look at the terrifying monster that is dating in LA. Told through dumpster-fire-date vignettes and dating seminar classes, Vangsness claws her way through the search for the combination of love AND an orgasm bouncing between an array of incredible characters, each earning their own type of laugh. This show is not without its gut-punch and Kirsten’s ability to turn a corner and change tone completely on a dime is deserving of the tears it brought. I would also like to add a particular shout out to the surrealist connective tissue slithering its way throughout, big BIG fan of this. Outdated is a show you would not want to miss.
