What I liked
The staging was informed and well executed. Stella Ramirez, Sharai Bravo, and Phoenix Marroquin gave beautiful, touching, nuanced and laugh out loud moments. Everyone felt like they knew the story they were meant to be telling.
What I didn't like
The show was very strong, I wish perhaps the scene transitions could have been tightened up and/or more a part of the narrative. The props and costumes were fun, but could possibly be simplified, it just felt a little inconsistent at times. These are very minor things for a very well put together production. Thank you for your art!
My overall impression
Important and timely, entertaining and touching, with laugh out loud moments, and directed with an awareness by Amairany Solano that makes it particularly active for today. Strong performances.
