About the Project
The trap is set. Brenda’s successful news segment, Perverse Justice, lures unsuspecting child predators into tense interviews. She’s hired Faye, an up and coming collegiate improv actress, to act as the ‘decoy’ to squeeze out the predator’s true intentions. The house is an abandoned McMansion. The prey: Travis, a deeply lonely math tutor, arrives. All according to plan…

‘Prey Naivete’ is a tense psychological thriller about the untangling of interpersonal power, the alienating effects of media and technology, and the intense, raw need for to be seen and heard and loved and idolized- no matter the cost.
Performances are at the Broadwater Black Box Theatre.
