I was absolutely blown away by the play TRU$T. The storyline was compelling and emotionally layered. It was funny, touching, and at times deeply sad. I was genuinely surprised by the incredible chemistry among the cast. Each actor brought their character to life in such a natural and powerful way, even those with brief appearances left a lasting impression. The ensemble truly elevated the entire experience. Tru$t is one of those plays that grabs you from the first moment and doesn’t let go. It’s smart, timely, and thought-provoking—and honestly, it flew by so fast I could’ve easily watched more. Every performer brings something special to the stage and the acting is top-notch across the board. It tackles serious issues, but still manages to make you laugh in the most unexpected, human ways. This play made me want to go see more plays. I had such a great time discovering this little gem that I honestly started to realize that I need to get out more and experience more live art. It was really well written and had such a great cast that I can still see and hear them a week or so later. Not knowing what to expect, I was thrilled to find myself smiling, gasping, nodding my head and leaning towards the stage in enthralled engagement. As an audience member it was very entertaining. The show was absolutely amazing and the combination of humor and drama was incredible. The writing was excellent and the acting performances was phenomenal. You could tell the cast had great chemistry with one another which allowed them to bring out there individual characters.
