The monologues were fantastic, with the repeated motif of the way a taste can stimulate a long-buried memory proving surprisingly touching. The performances – from every member of the cast, particularly Athena Reddy – were superb.
What I didn't like
The Sci-Fi framing device was good fun, but given the sensitivity of the character writing, there was room to maybe make the story of the attempt to stop whatever catastrophe they’re trying to prevent a little more fleshed out.
