What I liked
I loved the mystery of it all, the way the character’s stories slowly unfolded, and the monologues were gorgeous. Spreen doesn’t just come out and give you the answers, but instead let’s the audience sit back and experience the play fully. I walked away thinking about their stories and how they ended up where they did. A great night at the theater!

My overall impression
Unsweet Perdition is a workplace dramedy meets Erin Brockovich meets a Mike Flanagan series. Evan Spreen is a playwright who knows how to build tension and can write monologues that feel like poetry. I loved the way these characters and their stories slowly revealed themselves. Congrats to the whole team!
