Some absolutely beautiful moments and a clear love for Lynch, Nightvale, SCP stories, the Southern Reach Trilogy, and Jane Schoenbrun. Loved how minimalist it was. Really left the audience to conjure most of the imagery which was so rewarding. A lot sadder than I was expecting.
What I didn't like
To me it lacked a clear narrative resolution which did leave me a little bit lacking at the end, but not unforgivable. Some stories just need to end that way. Humor was at times very millennial humor, but what are you gonna do? That’s generational. I really enjoyed it.
My overall impression
Very beautifully written. I could listen to Evan Spreen’s dialogue for hours.
