What I liked

The behind the scenes crew of Beauty and the Beast was a very good concept. I liked hearing about our familiar characters as gossip. The girls sang well but everything felt one dimensional.

What I didn't like

The jokes did not land. The name forgetting from Fork(?) didn’t pay off. Everyone was stepping on each other’s lines or was waiting, unsure if the other persons finished, to say their lines. I know this is small theater but guys you have to know your lines. Or at least act like you do. I’m not even in theater and this was obvious. You cannot hinge on the gay guy trope or the outlandish cries. Push yourself to be better. Also, we gotta practice hitting our pitch boys- the musical numbers were not good.

My overall impression

Felt like a pieced meal of a play that definitely needed more rehearsals. It was flat and the pacing was very off.
