Much Ado About Nothing

What I liked

Emily Grace Gargiulo was incredible as Claudio, and I liked that this particular cutting gave more weight to the Claudio-Hero storyline (I’ve often seen it take a backseat to Benedict/Beatrice’s).

What I didn't like

The double-casting of Don Pedro/Dogberry was unfortunately disorienting, especially since the actor chose to portray both roles with the same booming pomposity.
The reality show gimmick may have looked good on paper but was poorly spec’d (aspect ratio!) and literally failed in execution (repeatedly). I also needed my dude Benedict to have some facial hair. You know the line.

My overall impression

Not as sharply executed as it could be, but moments of promise still shone through.
