What I liked
The setting of the space for a ceremony. The energetic performance. The Music and singing.
A standout show in this year’s Fringe.
Bravo to all involved.
What I didn't like
There were some parts of her life I wanted to know more. I understand there is only so much that can fit in a show- she mentioned Burning Man and I would have liked to know more about that experience. She indicated it had a great impact on her life.
My overall impression
A brilliant emotional ride.
From the moment I walked in the theater I was brought into a new space as we joined Sheila on her journey.
She is an extremely talented performer showing her range as an actress, singer and physical performer/dancer. She was willing to be very raw and vulnerable in stage.
