I laughed, I cried… ‘Bless Your Heart’ really has something for everyone in it, and just overall felt very relatable. The musical arrangements were really powerful, and it had a really nice arc. ‘Funeral For a Rose,’ ‘This Rain,’ and ‘M.R.S.’ were among my favorite moments.
What I didn't like
I can’t wait to see the full version, overall felt very cohesive and left me wanting more.
My overall impression
What a heartfelt and feel-good musical, with so much depth. I loved being able to travel back in time with the characters to the 1960s. The characters were so distinct — I thought Annie’s performance especially was fantastic and the character felt really well-developed, as well as Bardot.
