Bless Your Heart - A New Musical (Cabaret Edition)

What I liked

I enjoyed many of the songs—particularly the lyrics, which were clever and heartfelt.
The cast genuinely liked the songs and delivered their solos and beautiful harmonies with passion.

What I didn't like

Because this was a showcase, I was a bit confused by the Alice in Wonderland references. My hunch is they become relevant in the context of the entire show.

My overall impression

Such a joy to see Barri Lynn Hollander’s “Bless Your Heart”! Wonderful cast, powerful lyrics and beautifully composed songs like “360 or 180” and “This Rain” guide the audience through a woman’s quest for true family and home.
