Pulling off horror on stage, eliciting a palpable sense of terror, is a big feat to pull off. An engaging character you can invest in, paired with a commanding performance, serves greatly to ensure the ultimate effectiveness of such a production, and to that end Rachael Hip-Flores, and her character Charlotte Taylor, do the job masterfully. Taylor is a character you're happy to be tuned into, from her initial peppy demeanor to her increasing sense that something isn't right, all the way to her inevitable epiphany. Those looking for an intense, "nightmare fuel" horror experience may leave a bit wanting, but again Hip-Flores' performance elevate the proceedings, and there are some clever effects, a couple of genuinely spooky visuals, and a cou... full review
