The characters are all archetypes that we can relate to either personally or have met throughout our lives. I think those that don’t resonate or understand the story are either refusing to acknowledge reality or are a man that has never listened to a woman.
What I didn't like
Because of the limited time and resources when it comes to Fringe shows, you can’t always get the entire vision you set out to do. With more time and budget, defining the set a little more to depict a bottle could definitely elevate it and having tighter acting beats, higher attention to authenticity in the performances, and solid technical elements and transitions could take this show to the top.
My overall impression
Truly amazing and relevant to modern society past and present. It really holds a mirror up to our current state of the nation and drops it in, well, a bottle. It is also a fabulous commentary on the human condition and what lengths we go through when survival becomes the dominating instinct. It’s either eat or be eaten and depending on which character you resonate with most can reveal a lot about yourself. Go see this show because when this makes it big, you can brag and say you were there since day 1.
