About the Project
Five women wake up in a giant mason jar: a stubborn factory worker two weeks away from retiring, a privileged intern, a committed middle manager, an undocumented immigrant cleaning woman, and a jaded exunion sales girl. They don’t know how they got there, who put them in there, why they’re there, or even who each other is. All they do know is they showed up for an interview at the corporate office of the business they work for: a large corporation, Gu.
Gu, an Amazon-like corporation that sells every type of product from high end makeup to a wholesale shop all under the same mysterious label. No one knows what it’s made of or the process to make it, just that it sells.
But we’re about to find out.
