Karen Hall carried on through an emergency, presenting a show devised as a duo as a completely solo show in a bravura performance. The show is fully visual and nonverbal, tracing the history of humans from their inception through modernity. Behind the delightful physical and story-oriented comedy is a really salient exploration of our contemporary, work-driven lives. Sweet, funny and surprisingly poignant. I was enthralled from the first minute to the end. A show that the whole family can enjoy, however that does not make it a kid's show, as the deeper themes present will really resonate with the adults in the audience.
