What I liked
The production quality is impressive, featuring well-timed projection changes that keep you engaged and cleverly bring the world to life. The acting is spot on, and together with the projections, it effectively transports us into the narrative without relying on an elaborate stage setup.
What I didn't like
There was a long portion of time when Dominique Turner was off stage and I’m not sure why that was the case. Maybe there was an outfit change? It seemed like Justice came on stage wearing the same thing as before.
My overall impression
Thea’s writing is both fun and witty, delivering plenty of laughs while remaining relatable to anyone who’s ever felt confused about what it means to be a virgin. There are some gender themes woven in, particularly the uncertainty surrounding labels, but the primary focus is on sexuality and the journey of discovering what you truly desire. It prompts the question: Is it genuinely what you want, or merely what you’ve been told to want?
