One of my favorite elements was how it broke the fourth wall—it added such a playful and intimate layer that made me feel connected to the story in a unique way. The actress did a fantastic job, especially with her seamless transitions between characters, each with distinct and memorable personalities. She captured the awkwardness of certain moments in a way that felt so natural and real—it made the performance all the more relatable and engaging.
What I didn't like
If I had to suggest anything, it would be to add a bit more set dressing to help further transport the audience. That said, I completely understand that this is a one-woman play being performed in a festival setting, so minimalism is part of the format. Even so, it didn’t take away from how impactful the show was.
My overall impression
I truly enjoyed watching this play—it was both funny and deeply entertaining from start to finish. From the clever writing to the strong performances, the entire production took me on an unexpected and meaningful journey of self-discovery through the eyes of the main character.
