Thea's writing is both fun and witty, delivering plenty of laughs while remaining relatable to anyone who's ever felt confused about what it means to be a virgin. There are some gender themes woven in, particularly the uncertainty surrounding labels, but the primary focus is on sexuality and the journey of discovering what you truly desire. It prompts the question: Is it genuinely what you want, or merely what you've been told to want?...

Super well thought out. The writings pacing kept me engaged throughout the entirety of the show. The actors comedic timing was spot on as well, something that can be rare at times. And isn’t easy to do. Kept a good flow throughout the performance not a moment that felt flat. ...

Very sweet and relatable story. I'm also a sucker for a small town to big city story. Dominique is so charming and really holds us in the palm of her hand the whole time. ...

What a fun show! And poignant! The trap is to believe that awkwardness of losing a one’s virginity is specific to sexual encounter. However, the awkwardness, excitement and disappointment portrayed by the amazing Dominique Turner, reminds us all of our first time: in bed, in a boardroom, in an interview. As a queer person of color, I am reminded of each moment that I enter into a primarily straight or/and white space. So awkward, so cringy, so… Dominique! A unicorn exists beyond the bedroom. Thank you ladies for a fun and poignant time at the theatre!...
