What I liked

It was so smart to use the furniture as other characters!! It was so surprising and fun every time!! What a smart way to structure the show, highly entertaining, and moving to see those relationships! I also really loved how the show started with the vampire looking out the front door and screaming when he realized it was sunny out — but I didn’t put this together until later! It was so cool to realize that’s what had happened, and to return to that motif (of looking out the front door) several times. So smart!

What I didn't like

Maybe in a future iteration of the show, I’d be curious to see a scene and the dancing integrated simultaneously?? But the way the emotion of the scenes built to the dances was chefs kiss too! Just a thought lol.

My overall impression

A dreamy, funny and entertaining dance theatre piece about a day-in-the-life of a vampire (with autism) learning to accept himself. Taylor is such a talented, embodied and expressive dancer and performer!
