The immersive aspects were fun, and I loved the audience participation (many were given a particular part and line to say at points through the show). It was also very personal in a way that didn’t get too schlocky but had an undercurrent of love and sadness that felt real. I laughed most of the time, and when I wasn’t laughing, I was deeply engaged in Elena’s storytelling. Really enjoyed this!

My overall impression
Hilarious, heartfelt show about grief, loss and love. Elena draws the audience in to her relationship with her dad, which is complicated, as most love is – especially between adult children and their parents.
