What I liked
When she stuck her finger in her butt (you had to be there) — that was crazy. And the beautiful titanic piano playing full circle ending.

Wish I could’ve played her mom…
My overall impression
This show moved me to tears (the only show at fringe to do that, for whatever it’s worth). Elena’s the kind of person, and performer, that moves about a room and takes command of it so effortlessly. Not in a crazy egotistical way, but a charming, grounded, unassuming, and always surprisingly absurd way. This show, to me, is what fringe is all about. Deeply personal, moving, and unique, and somehow hilarious all the way through — tip to taint. One of my favorites of the fest.
