What I liked
I loved the games – the audience was so into them, specifically the singalong moments. I loved seeing Elena have fun on stage. This could’ve been such a sappy, melodramatic piece but Elena’s writing and performance makes the piece and message hit even harder.
What I didn't like
Splash zone? I wanted to get wet!
My overall impression
Goofy goofy fun, while touching on the reality of having to cut off a loved one due to politics, toxicity, narcissism, etc. It’s a celebration of what we love of our loved ones while saying goodbye in funeral form to the person. Elena is a master of keeping things FUN and light while delving into a mourning and grief of a relationship that will never be the way we remember it. Healthy, beautiful, hilarious and playful!
