What I liked

What stood out most was the way Elena involved the audience. It wasn’t just interactive—it was purposeful. She pulled people in, got them invested, and focused attention on the complex, often uncomfortable subject of familial disconnection. The engagement was done with tact and warmth, and Elena showed sharp improvisational skills throughout. It made the show feel alive, unpredictable, and authentic.

What I didn't like

There were a few sound difficulties during the performance. These seemed like technical hiccups on the day—likely easy to fix and not reflective of the show’s overall quality.

My overall impression

I found this show raw, funny and deeply personal. The premise is both poignant and provocative: a daughter performing a funeral for her father who is still alive, symbolizing their estrangement. Despite this difficult subject, the show strikes a remarkable balance between emotional honesty and humor. It’s funny, musical, and full of heart, with audience participation that’s not only engaging but central to the experience.
