You simply cannot look away the second Nina hits the stage. This is the kind of show that demands to be watched with bated breath, from lights up to blackout. Nina’s energy is infectious for the audience—everything that happens makes you want to cheer, scream, or just run onstage and give the lead a hug.
What I didn't like
I wish it was longer! It’s always so devastating when the lights drop and the music comes on for curtail call, but this show in particular made me want to jump up and beg for a few more pages worth of script.
My overall impression
Nina Rancel bares her soul for (almost) an hour in an unflinching, emotionally raw demonstration of commitment to her craft. If you’re looking for something to watch at Fringe this year, THIS is one to add to your list. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and then you’ll want to stick around after bows to talk to this incredible talent, because you’re sure to make a great friend!
