I really appreciated Diana’s vulnerability and candor throughout the show, it really connected me to her as a storyteller. She doesn’t shy away from telling you how things happened and how she felt, which allows for the complexity of life to shine. She ends the show by telling some truths that need to be told, it made me reflect on my education concerning accessibility.
What I didn't like
This is a personal request and not a critique, but I could have seen more of her mom and the stewardess. Such fun portrayals of those characters.
My overall impression
Diana is a consummate storyteller. She brings you on her journey and imbues it with so much character and color, it feels like you’re in the room eavesdropping on a conversation or can smell the chicharron. Me, Myself and Other takes you through the twists and turns of her life, down into the darkest moments, and then back into the light. She’s an intriguing mixture of ferocity and warmth throughout the show. The message of the show is so powerful and wrapped up in a hilarious story that keeps you laughing throughout!
