What I liked

Olivia, despite how hilarious the show is, has put together one of the bravest one-person shows I’ve seen in terms of how much she’s shared.

I don’t even mean the story about how she pooped her pants, although revealing that took guts (no gross pun intended). Her sharing her pining for the one who got away must have been hard, 1000x more so because she went OUT OF HER WAY to fix him up with someone else.

Why? It wasn’t even clear but that’s the point. Many of us do things that harm ourselves, without any rhyme or reason.

However, her message at the end about how much of other people’s happiness has its roots in what she’s done, and she should be proud even if it’s at her own expense, deeply deeply resonated with me given my own life. I approached her after the show to tell her that.

Also to tell her, 100% truthfully, that I’ve never been the only person to give someone a standing ovation. After yelling, “Yeah!” and standing up to applaud, I noticed everyone else was remaining seated. Still, I thought, “Screw it – she deserves this” and remained standing.

What I didn't like

Nothing worth mentioning.

My overall impression

This show is incredible. Truly.
