About the Project

CJ Salvador is the eldest child of the notoriously corrupt mayor of Tiangco, the city that controls the Mindanao Islands. Their initial beliefs are steeped in an acceptance of their privilege. However, when CJ witnesses their parents’ policies in action, an awakening is sparked in them. This exposure plants the seeds of doubt in CJ’s heart, sparking a hunger for truth and justice. When their youngest sibling, Myka, runs away and goes missing, CJ’s world is shattered. Fueled by guilt and determination, they embark on a journey to search for Myka. CJ’s path takes an unexpected turn when they encounter the Lumad people, the indigenous group suffering under the weight of their parents’ policies. Through their interactions, CJ witnessed firsthand the atrocities and injustices inflicted upon the Lumad, igniting a fire within them to advocate for those whose voices have been silenced.
