What I liked

The cast delivered emotionally grounded and authentic performances, handling difficult material with empathy and strength. Each character felt distinct and well-realized, adding depth to the overall narrative. The direction and transitions were especially effective, creating a fluid experience that kept the audience engaged throughout. The production struck a compelling balance between discomfort and humanity, with moments of quiet power that resonated deeply.

What I didn't like

Nothing to note here! I appreciate the risks this production took and the thoughtful approach the team brought to the stage.

My overall impression

This production takes on incredibly complex and emotionally charged subject matter and presents it with care, nuance, and strong artistic vision. Centered on the lives of individuals shaped by a traumatic past, the play explores themes of identity, survival, and the search for belonging. It was a thought-provoking and bold piece of theatre that left a lasting impression.
