I liked the structure, simple but effective lighting cues, and really liked the voicemails
What I didn't like
I didn’t feel strongly invested in the ‘possession’ by John Lennon subplot, and felt like it was oddly unresolved.
My overall impression
The Love Child of John Lennon is a focused, engaging production that never drags. Its portrayal of the complicated friendship between artist and manager is particularly endearing and real.
