I loved the direction and the performances were really fun. A few of the actors are doing triple (or more!) duty and the two who aren’t are on stage most of the time, so kudos to the small but mighty cast!
I think the whole production managed to do a whole lot with a very minimal set in a small space. The costume design and staging and performances all combined to evoke a sense of traveling through a large space meeting fanciful characters (à la The Wizard of Oz or Alice in Wonderland). Really cool theater trick, and well executed!
What I didn't like
Not the fault of the production, but we have to figure out as a community how to make some of these theaters more physically accessible. (it’s up a flight of stairs)
My overall impression
A great little Fringe snack! The direction was clever and silly, which is just what you want in a comedy filled with horror icons. Everyone seemed like they were having fun up there and the audience for sure did; lots of laughs the whole time.
