My overall impression

Liz Femi’s infectious energy as an 8-year-old version of herself drives this brilliantly written and performed play. Her innocent observations are a fresh perspective on economic woes, love and growing up in Africa. But she is never precious, and the serious underlying meanings are all subtly conveyed while humor, song and marvelous character work ferry us speedily along. Highly recommended.
