What I liked

I especially loved the way the story blends dark humor with suspense—it keeps you on edge while making you chuckle at the same time. The troll character is brilliantly written, full of personality and unpredictability, which makes the story feel fresh and engaging. I also appreciated the clever social commentary woven into the plot, adding depth beyond just an entertaining read.

What I didn't like

While the story is engaging, some parts of the plot felt a bit rushed, leaving a few questions unanswered. Additionally, a few secondary characters could have been developed more fully to make the world feel even richer. A little more balance between action and character depth would make the experience even stronger.

My overall impression

THE TROLL is a gripping and darkly humorous story that cleverly blends suspense with satire. The pacing keeps you hooked from start to finish, and the characters—especially the titular troll—are vivid and memorable. It balances tension and wit in a way that makes it both entertaining and thought-provoking. Overall, it’s a unique read that lingers in your mind long after the last page. retro bowl 76
