What I liked
I loved the subject matter, the use of humor but also the artists aware of their shadow self and trauma and how that informed the journey they took the audience on.
What I didn't like
Nothing. It’s a perfect show. My only issue is that it had to end.
My overall impression
The Troll is an amazing show that is both hilarious at times and also heart felt. It does an exquisite job of taking you in Rochee’s journey as she navigates being a brilliant comedian and writer who has to tackle troll culture, misogynoir and homophobia in a landscape that wants her to diminish herself. It was a perfect blend of funny, heart felt, vulnerability and it resonated with me deeply.
