Erabus and the Fall of Sparrows is such a powerful show that speaks to what our youth are going through today. With important themes of suicide, depression, and school shootings, this play tackles heavy topics with seriousness and with a genuine-hearted touch that leaves the audience laughing at some moments, then in tears the next. The talented young cast is a force to behold.... full review

Surprising, powerful, funny, and really moving. This play will really stay with me. Authentic: about 20 high school kids telling it like it is. Very entertaining and thought provoking. A GREAT 80 minutes of memorable theater! The best thing at the Fringe so far. Unique and theatrical.... full review

A must-see, one of a kind production that will leave you digesting this remarkable piece of theater days later. Crazy to me that these are teenagers putting this show on! You will laugh. You will cry. You will feel seen and heard in a way that no other play has ever made you feel before. As a parent, the growing division over topics like school shootings and suicide is something I grapple with a lot. I saw myself through the parental figures in this play and my mind was also opened up to the perspectives of my daughters when considering how relevant issues impact them. I will be seeing it again. Do not miss Erabus!... full review

What an impactful play... You can tell that all of the actors put a ton of work into making this play great. Not only does it accurately depict the issues it covers, it is even more impressive with how all talented the actors are at such a young age. This play MOVES you and makes you think from a different perspective.... full review

I thought this show was immensely emotional and had a great message. Overall it was a great experience to see high schoolers show deep and meaningful emotions. The topics are definitely very sad but there was a good amount of comedy keeping the play going. I definitely recommend watching!... full review

Days after seeing Erabus and the Fall of Sparrows, my daughter and I are still talking about this extraordinary play. We laughed, we cried, we linked arms – and that was just during the opening scenes. The play-within-a-play format was brilliant as the show interspersed levity while courageously grappling with isolation, fear, high school years, abuse, teen suicide, and school shootings. We left the theater in awe of the acting, writing, and directing and with a sense of greater connection and intentionality. As a parent, Erabus was deeply moving to experience and a springboard for essential conversations. As a law professor and attorney focused on domestic violence and gun violence prevention and on educating our next generation of advocate... full review

Erabus and the Fall of Sparrows was such an emotionally driven play. The actors brought the energy and liveliness to the characters they portrayed. It covers tough topics that oftentimes not put into the light enough by society. Topics such as school bullying, teen suicide, and school shooting, the things that happen repeatedly every year. But with not enough effort made to stop them from occurring. This is such a powerful piece of art that I believe everyone should come see.... full review

Wow. Just wow. I don't think I could do justice for how much this play impacted me. As a parent and educator, it touched me so deeply-- the issues are so relevant. It represents every perspective, both students, parents, and teachers alike surrounding the big issues of our time like gun violence and suicide. By the end of the play, I was sobbing and so was my husband. It adds even more of an impact that this play is performed completely by high school students. Not only were the performances touching, but they were authentic and connected. Truly unlike anything I've ever seen before. DO NOT go to the Hollywood Fringe Festival without watching this PHENOMENAL show. ... full review
