My overall impression

Days after seeing Erabus and the Fall of Sparrows, my daughter and I are still talking about this extraordinary play. We laughed, we cried, we linked arms – and that was just during the opening scenes. The play-within-a-play format was brilliant as the show interspersed levity while courageously grappling with isolation, fear, high school years, abuse, teen suicide, and school shootings. We left the theater in awe of the acting, writing, and directing and with a sense of greater connection and intentionality. As a parent, Erabus was deeply moving to experience and a springboard for essential conversations. As a law professor and attorney focused on domestic violence and gun violence prevention and on educating our next generation of advocates, the message of Erabus is transformative and lifesaving. Don’t miss Erabus!
