I liked that this show didn’t let a happy ending unfold. Those are the plays we remember. Othello, Romeo and Juliet, the Seagull, those are the plays you think of when you think “Acting.” Because that’s what acting is. The truth. And the actors, directors, and writers of this show did an amazing job of shying away from a happy ending. Because it’s never really happy.
What I didn't like
I believe the play can go deeper into issues involving teen suicide and school shootings. There’s a lot that goes unseen in our world.
My overall impression
Not many shows have successfully made me cry. At the end of the day, it’s acting. But this show entirely threw away that ideology. Erabus shows what our world is really like and shows the endless cycle of neglect for the younger generation, and the adversity that they face.
