Very authentic. A group of REALLYGOOD high school kids and one man (teacher) do this Greek Tragedy-style modern play-within-a play dealing with teen suicide and gun violence. Suitable for teens and up. I laughed, I cried, and I left really moved. The story is fresh and authentic. These kids are really good. Staged very well. About 80 minutes long. Very original. Will really speak to teens, parents, and all caring humans. Topic sounds morbid, but the way it is performed is also funny and thoughtful. Very positive, hopeful message. Warning: deals with suicide issues, and school shootings, but no violence onstage… really powerful and suitable for about 13 and up. Highly recommended!
What I didn't like
Fill the house. Everyone should see this. Schools should do it.
My overall impression
Surprising, powerful, funny, and really moving. This play will really stay with me. Authentic: about 20 high school kids telling it like it is. Very entertaining and thought provoking. A GREAT 80 minutes of memorable theater! The best thing at the Fringe so far. Unique and theatrical.
