About the Project

High School students from the outstanding Orange County School of the Arts Acting Conservatory perform a world premiere play created out of improvs and written by William Mittler, dealing with teen suicide and school shootings. Based loosely on Greek Tragedy, surprisingly entertaining, uplifting and very moving. Raw, honest, both innocent and troubled… view these issues candidly through the lens of children who have to deal with the possibility of these issues every day. The takeaway messages of this beautiful piece are “if you’re in trouble-reach out”, and “if you see someone in trouble-reach out.”  90 minutes. No intermission. Family friendly but not suitable for young children. Audience members with trauma issues may need emotional support. A strobe is used briefly during the performance. There is no violence depicted onstage. Suggested ticket price $20, but all performances Pay what you can.
