Feel like I mostly covered this in my overall impression, but I’ll add that she fluidly went in and out of breaking the fourth wall and winking to the audience. It really made us feel like the show was an exchange / interaction with her, and at the same time, it didn’t seem to detract from her commitment when she went back into the characters. Felt very live and alive!
What I didn't like
Hmm. Hard to think of anything. Maybe the bat could have a voice more different from hers? It was so fun to hear her switch between all these different voices! That’s all I got.
My overall impression
Molly has a one-of-a-kind sense of humor: good-natured, ranging from completely innocent to shockingly dirty, and at times random in a very intuitive, goofy way — which is a special quality that I think a lot of people lose after childhood. Murder, Oops! perfectly encapsulates all that. I was amazed at how many characters she played, all talking to each other, making out, etc — but we had no problem following the chaos. The songs were hilarious and at times also really beautiful! You haven’t seen anything else like this and you won’t again and you will love it.
